Mysteries of our disguise

I don't have a favorite song per se, it's more like the music I listened to in high school is full of songs I love. Then there's the new century filled with more songs I love.

One song that gets me motivated is "Bombs Over Baghdad" by Outkast. I'm a huge Outkast fan.

I am also a huge Portishead fan and was the only person in my school to ever have a Portishead T-shirt (I was also one of the first rocking a South Park t-shirt as well)

Other artists that are very significant to me are Fiona Apple, Sarah McLachlan, and Tori Amos.

I miss the days when hip hop was urban poetry and not the recipes for dystopia.

I miss the days when rock and roll bands were gritty, authentic, and raw to the touch.

There's a lot about music that the music industry has managed to ruin for me, unfortunately.

I miss the good old days..
