Diet Days #5

Ever see that guy from the oatmeal commercials now pushing heart and diabetes medication instead of oatmeal? If one eats oatmeal daily it cuts down your cholesterol etc. and 8 times out of 10 it will keep heart trouble and diabetes will not be in your future, or they will be significantly lowered.

Another thing that bugs me: why does McDonalds sell that "southern" sweet tea and not green tea? Does anybody know how much green tea can help their immune system and overall health? Plus it's cheap and calming at the end of the day if you get the decaf.
I drink a caffeinated cup of green tea in the morning instead of coffee or caffeinated soda. If every fast food joint and chain restaurant served green tea this country would get a whole lot healthier. But I guess our government doesn't want us to be healthy, they want us addicted to sugar so they can make billions of dollars through diabetes and heart medication and treatments.

It's so simple to keep a good diet that doesn't cost much, you just have to put the effort into it to change your livestyle. It's a long road but it is really worth it at the end of the day. You only have one body so you better make sure to take care of it.

Real talk: green tea works wonders: it burns fat and it full of antioxidants. It may be an acquired taste but it is more than worth adding to your diet arsenal.
